If your notebook displays
are hard to read due to glare and reflections, check out Man & Machine's
laminations of OCLI A/R films to your notebooks. Man & Machine
also can customize your display to increase its brightness
by up to 165% with 3M's Brightness Enhancement Film.
Man & Machine
can correct polarizer damage by replacing your LCD's scratched
polarizer with new polarizers from Nitto-Denko, Sanritz, or
3M. Man & Machine has available most types of polarizers,
and can analyze and produce all polarizers used in LCD's.
Do you need brighter LCD's?
Are you looking for daylight readable LCD's? Man & Machine
is a leader in bright, daylight readable LCD displays. We have
LCD's and LCD monitors with brightness exceeding 4000 nit.
For your special applications, Man & Machine can integrate,
customize, and support your LCD needs.

MMI
has developed two types of enhancements to maximize viewablity
and increase user satisfaction. "Active Enhancements" and "Passive
Enhancements".
For active
enhancements, MMI modifies the backlight assembly to replace
and add additional backlight tubes to make the LCD panel
more "sunlight-readable". Active enhancements do consume
more power and generate additional heat from display. Therefore,
this is not a preferred method for laptops and LCD monitors.
For
passive enhancements, MMI upgrades the LCD panel through
the use of enhancement films to make the LCD more "sunlight-usable".
A combination of brightness enhancement films are installed
in the LCD panel between the backlight assembly and the LCD
glass. This brightness enhancement can make the LCD panel
between 20% to 200% brighter. An Anti-Glare/Anti-Reflective
film is then applied to the front of the LCD surface to cut
down on the display being "washed-out" by sunlight. The combination
of these enhancement is what makes the LCD more usable outdoors.
